18 - 24 monthsPosted by Marianne Strømsborg Klever Tue, March 03, 2009 19:50:15HEY - MISSED ME???As I told you a long long long time ago, we all went to Spåtind for a weekend in the end of January. Morten was the host for "Winter Survival Course", a course that has been arranged for foreign officers for about a 40 years. One weekend during the course, the attachés from all over the world are invited, and also Marianne had to teach Italians and Spaniards to cross country ski. I just had a lot of fun

and was very cute, of course.
If I thought I´ve learned about fun in the snow - that was nothing compared to Spåtind!!! It really came a lot of snow during the weekend, just see for yourself:
Just arrived, and I wonder what is going on...

Do you understand and believe me when I say that it snowed A LOT??? Almost impossible to take photos!!!!

REALLY REALLY REALLY FUN !!!!! All this activity and fresh air made me really hungry. I did not eat in the restaurant though...Marianne made me dinner in our room (Yes - they had special rooms for dog owners
)
WOW - CAN HARDLY WAIT... SAY THE MAGIC WORD - PLEASE.....

It was a very nice weekend. Since then we have had (and still have) a lot of snow here at home as well, and I have been on another holiday - at Grandma and Grandpa´s while M&M was in the US. All about that later. Busy days, right now the ships in the Oslo fjord are "honking" in the fog out there, we have candles and I just say...
HOME SWEET HOME

18 - 24 monthsPosted by Marianne Strømsborg Klever Sat, January 31, 2009 18:02:25I just have to tell I just have to tell you all...Kent, who is Trickster´s "big brother" was accepted at primary officer´s course yesterday!!!
CONGRATULATION KENT!!!I know that he has been working at Ørland Main Airstation, and that he and Marianne had contact - but NOW she tells me that he actually dropped by Rygge Airstation on a surprise visit on his way to Kjevik. Sorry I was not present at work that day Kent - I was taking a day off

But you met both M&M, and has been in contact with Marianne. She was very happy for Kent when he got through the initial tests, and got the message on our hotel weekend (update from that weekend will come - promise). And when she got the message that he "survived" the week in the field - she just said out loud
YES!!!
Kent has worked very hard and has done a lot of exercises and really really deserves to be accepted at primary officer´s course - it will be a couple of month´s ahead with hard work and it is good he is prepared

And of course, M&M think it is really nice to see Kent in the Air Force...
Trickster and Kent
(Marianne borrowed the picture from Trickster´s blog - hope they don´t mind...)
So - we are two siblings in the Royal Norwegian Air Force - just to remind you.

18 - 24 monthsPosted by Marianne Strømsborg Klever Thu, January 22, 2009 22:19:53...so good
Thank´s to all of you for the greetings during the holiday!!!
As I thought, a lot of the gifts under the tree was to ME. I understood the concept after a while, and when I heard my name I ran over - pretty and courious about what the content of the gift was. Marianne even has that on film.
The weather was pretty good and we used the opportunity to go for long walks. "Kyststien" starts at my beach, and goes all around Jeløya. Here are pictures, as promised...

Since then we got A LOT of snow here, at least for a couple of days. Now I understand what all of my siblings are talking about...
THAT WAS FUN!!! So, as you can understand, I really look forward to this weekend. I´m going to stay the weekend at a hotel in the mountain with M&M, and they have assured me that it is a lot of snow up there. We will drive up tomorrow, and right now I have to make sure that Marianne is packing all my things right. Tell you all about it later.

18 - 24 monthsPosted by Marianne Strømsborg Klever Tue, December 23, 2008 18:46:32...CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!
Last year, a thought christmas was a wonderful time of the year. I did not now any of it and it was all new to me. This year, I remembered some, but could not really remember why M&M did all the stuff in our home. What are they doing - why do all these nisser and troll have to come out of the boxes - and why are they bringing a TREE in to our living room??? Well...now i remember and have to say that it´s beginning to look a lot like christmas in our home
Me and Marianne making pepperkake hus
The christmas stockings are ready for all kind of treats - I just don´t really understand why mine is so SMALL...
Maybe because I´m the baby
And of course...a lot of hugging. M&M are at home these days

We went for a long walk today, but of course M&M forgot the camera. Promise you will get updated outdoor pictures during the holiday!
FROM ALL OF US - TO ALL OF YOU;
A MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS
PS Some of the gifts under the tree are to ME (I can smell it) Tell U later

Dinghy riding over for this year - Minima permitteres:
